The American Value Package, SE, and SXT trim levels come standard with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine, which comes paired with 4-speed automatic transmission. This engine generates 173 horsepower and 166 pound-feet of torque, while still giving the Journey fuel efficiency of up to 26 miles per gallon on the highway. If you're looking for more power, a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 6-speed automatic transmission is available on the SXT and standard on the Limited and R/T trim levels. This engine generates an impressive 283 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available with the 6-cylinder engine. The drive is fun, powerful, and responsive.
